“Express Your Voice” Concert Series- Music For A Movement

iVote Maryland has put together a live concert series called Express Your Voice featuring local Baltimore artists and bands in hopes of encouraging our generation to express their right to vote in the upcoming elections. Hosted by Konan from 92Q, Express Your Voice will include appearances by radio personalities, celebrities, important government officials, and local talent such as Karron Johnson, Skarr Akbar, and Wordsmith. iVote Maryland is a non partisan movement dedicated to empowering the youth and educating them on their right to vote through the vehicles of activism, technology, and entertainment.

iVote Maryland strives to bridge the gap between disenfranchised young adults and public officials. It is imperative that we all understand that voting is a necessity not a privilege! Voting allows us to help create the laws as well as elect public officials. Our goal is to create a path for young adults to use their voices and actions to be united in our mission to promote voting. Our slogan: “Express your voice; vote your choice.”

Karron Johnson will be performing at Express Your Voice.

The concert will be held on Wednesday, March 30 from 7 p.m.- 2 a.m. at Bourbon Street on 316 Guilford Avenue. Tickets ate $11 in advance and $15 at the door.
