Washington D.C. producer and MC Yusef takes us on that journey in the second single from his upcoming debut LP “Jazz & the Joint Forces”. His personal story of relationship bliss taking a turn for the worse is beautifully supported by a jazz instrumental improvisation and the soothing vocals of Teisha Marie. Listening to this track definitely made me curious to see how other tracks on the album will implement a jazz sound with hip hop flows as well.
